Senior Fraud Analyst

BUYME is Israel's leading Digital Gift-Cards Solutions Company, dedicated to revolutionizing the way people give and receive presents. We work closely with various retailers and corporate partners to offer an extensive range of gift cards that cater to all demographics and occasions.

We are seeking an experienced and vigilant Senior Fraud Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our company and our customers from fraudulent activities related to gift card transactions. This role involves “hands-on” responsibilities such as managing chargebacks, data labeling, liaising with insurance providers, and identifying suspicious activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fraud Detection and Analysis: Monitor and optimize real-time and post-transaction fraud detection systems to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Fraud Investigation: Conduct manual reviews of transactions and preemptively identify suspicious behaviors to prevent gift card redemption fraud.
• Chargeback Management: Handle all chargeback requests from credit card companies, ensuring accurate data labeling and prompt resolution.
• Loss Prevention: Implement and enhance loss prevention measures to minimize financial risks and safeguard company assets.
• Data Analytics: analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in transactional data.
• Strategy Development: Design and continuously enhance fraud prevention strategies and protocols based on evolving threat landscapes.
• Reporting and Documentation: Generate and maintain comprehensive reports on fraud cases, highlighting trends and suggesting improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in fraud prevention, chargeback management, or similar roles, preferably within the gift card, payments or e-commerce industry.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
• Experience working with databases/SQL - a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of current fraud trends, prevention techniques, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a proactive and “can do” approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make timely decisions.
