Role Description

This is a full-time academic position at the assistant/associate/full professor level in mechanical engineering at The Faculty of Engineering Tel Aviv University, located in Tel Aviv-Yafo. The successful candidate is expected to conduct high-quality research and teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, advising and mentoring students, and participating in academic and administrative activities of the department, faculty, and university. Qualifications

• A doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or its equivalent
• An outstanding record of research and scholarship, commensurate with the stage of an academic career
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of Mechanical Engineering, including but not limited to Robotics, Control Systems, Mechanics, and Design
• Demonstrated excellence and commitment to undergraduate and/or graduate teaching, and mentorship of students
• Effective communication skills in English and Hebrew (possibly in the future) and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and perspectives
• A strong commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in research, teaching, and service
• A commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and contributing positively to the professional and academic communities
