Backend Big Data Team Leader

In this leadership role, you will be critical in designing, developing, and implementing our cutting-edge solutions.

You will lead a talented team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that drives impactful results.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development team using the latest big data technologies in an agile environment.
• Take a significant hands-on (50%) role in the development effort.
• Provide strong technical leadership through problem-solving and guiding the team toward sustainable and scalable design solutions.
• Oversee all stages of the product development lifecycle, from translating requirements into actionable plans to development, unit testing, and production troubleshooting.
• Set project goals and timelines, ensuring efficient and successful delivery.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and achieve common objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, focusing on data-oriented products using Python/Java.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading a team of developers, on-site and abroad.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear instructions for your team.
• In-depth knowledge of data processing frameworks like Spark, Pandas, Minio, and Airflow.
• Experience with Distributed Databases (Elasticsearch, Mongo, Redis, etc.).
• Experience with Relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with developing microservices-based architecture.
• Experience working in container-based environments with tools like Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experienced with cloud environments.
• Agile development methodology expertise.
• Experienced with high availability and real-time development.

Nice to Have:

Experience with near RT systems/performance optimizations

Experience with machine learning frameworks like Scikit-learn and TensorFlow.

Experience with RedHat OpenShift.

Proficiency with development environment tools (GIT, Jenkins, Docker).
