About the Role
As our Controller, you will have the core responsibility of overseeing our consolidated financial statements, managing various entities in the US, Israel and Europe, partnering with several external service providers, and being a key player of many strategic initiatives. This is a great opportunity to take ownership and gain experience in complex business and tax questions. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders to produce and execute ideas and strategies that will support growth and international scale.
We are looking for a smart, tech savvy, enthusiastic and hardworking individual who has gained experience in a growing tech company and is looking for their next challenge in an exciting growing startup. You will join an extremely passionate and talented team, work with all the departments of the company, and have a significant role in laying the foundations for TULU’s rapid growth and expansion. You will also:
- Own the month-end financial statements closing process
- Monitor the company’s books and ledgers
- Mange outsource accounting services in multiple locations
- Own all daily financial activities of the company
- Lead the various streams’ revenue recognition processes
- Oversee the monthly billing and collection process
- Oversee payment approvals and expense reports
- Assist with budget and forecast processes
- Perform periodical analytical analysis to explain variations and identify trends
- Work and coordinate with the company’s external auditors during interim and annual audits
- Review/prepare tax returns and other reports for the company’s leadership
- Work on exciting projects, implementations of systems and processes
- Learn and develop in areas you wish to gain more experience in!
About You
You’re curious in nature, a hard worker, with a strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done. You love testing new ideas and look to be measured by your results, embrace the long roads, know what success looks like, and you’ll be restless until you achieve it. A people’s person with a great passion to build, execute, grow and optimize revolutionary real-life businesses, with a huge impact on the way we live. You also have:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a high-tech organization
- CPA with Big 4 experience, high-tech industry
- Proficient knowledge of US GAAP
- Strong Excel knowledge and experience
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, hands-on and proactive approach to problem solving
- Exceptional business partnering skills, with demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and at various levels within a company
- Excellent English - fluent ( Verbal and written)
- Quick learner, organized, responsible, and personally dedicated to accomplishing objectives
- Knowledge in BI tools (bonus)
- Inventory management tools and processes background (bonus)
- Experience managing outsourced services in various locations in the world (bonus)
- Experience in budget planning and monitoring (bonus)
