Software Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our software development team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be proficient in managing and coordinating software development projects.

As a hands-on manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and deployment of software solutions using our current technology stack: JavaScript, Node.js, React, AWS, microservices, ECS, EKS, Lambda, and Serverless technologies. The Software Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving innovation, fostering a collaborative work environment, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 10 software developers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Oversee the development and implementation of software solutions using JavaScript, Node.js, React, and other relevant technologies within our stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development processes and practices.
• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products that meet industry standards and customer requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in software development and integrate relevant technologies, including Node.js, into the development process.
• Manage and allocate resources effectively to optimize team productivity and project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manage a team of 10 software developers.
• Proven experience managing and leading software development teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, React, and other relevant technologies within our stack.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services, microservices architecture, ECS, EKS, Lambda, and Serverless technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on delivering results.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
