Technical Writer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Technical Writer to join our team, playing a crucial role in communicating complex information with clarity and precision.

As a Technical Writer, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams across our organization, including product teams and engineering teams, to produce high-quality documentation. Your role will involve creating clear and concise overviews, conceptual content, API reference material, and programming guides, ensuring effective communication of complex technical information to our users and developers.

What you'll do:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive technical documentation
• Work as a member of the Documentation Team team, working closely with product, engineering, commercial and support teams to create documentation for product functionalities and features
• Edit technical documents written by others; develop templates, processes, and style guidelines to facilitate and improve writing skills across the organization

You may fit this role if you...

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience working as a technical writer
• Experience working with engineering and product management teams as part of the software development process
• Experience writing REST API & SDK documentation
• Near-native proficiency in English
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML
• Experience reading and writing Java, JavaScript or another language
• Experience working with HTML, CSS
• Experience writing in Markdown
• Experience with version control such as Git
• A portfolio of your work that showcases your talent
• Nice to have: Knowledge and background in payments
