Purchase Specialist

a global medical device company is looking for purchasing specialist

The opportunity:

In this role, you will be handling the company's global procurement requirements and vendors.

In this position you will be asked to:

" Source suppliers: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors, both locally and globally, to ensure a reliable source of goods and services.

" Suppliers Negotiation: Negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable terms, including pricing, quality, delivery, and payment terms.

" Cost Analysis: Analysing supplier proposals and quotations to determine the most cost-effective options while maintaining quality standards.

" Build and develop relationships with key suppliers.

" Prepare purchase requisitions, approve and issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions.

A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

" 2-3 years experience in procurement of raw material for a manufacturing company.

" Excellent Organizational Skills

" Excellent Negotiation and Communication Skills

" Prior experience from Medical Companies - a strong advantage

" Reliable, with a strong work ethics and a dynamic approach

" Experience in Priority
