Product Data Scientist

We are looking for a skilled product data scientist to join the Wordtune group at AI21 Labs. In this role, you will play a pivotal role at the intersection of Product and Data Science. You will be accountable for all data aspects of our products and come up with valuable insights that will shape them, in order to better understand our users and make informed product decisions. You will be working in a cross-functional team and be involved in the conceptualization, development, and testing of new features from a data-driven perspective.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Leverage data science toolbox and methods of statistical analysis to provide actionable insights and a deeper understanding of users’ interaction with our products
• Conceptualize, track and analyze A/B tests to evaluate our models and hypotheses on actual users
• Working directly inside a cross-functional product squad, define and set measurable goals, as well as investigate root causes behind metrics changes
• Influence and help shape the company’s analytics infrastructure and advocate standardized work processes
• Design, develop and automate data products to measure key performance metrics
  
  

Requirements:

• BSc in CS / Engineering / Statistics or equivalent (MSc is a plus)
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist / Product Data Analyst
• Exceptional analytical skills, accompanied by a strong belief that data is essential to drive decisions and outcomes
• Proficiency in SQL and in Python scientific packages (numpy, pandas, scikit-learn) and visualization tools (matplotlib, seaborn, bokeh)
• Excellent presentation and communication capabilities: Ability to speak the voice of the user through data
• Self motivated and curious
• Statistical / Machine learning experience, in the areas of Experimental design, Causality, Predictive and Explanatory models - advantage
