Chief Technology Officer

VRAS is a technology company with a mission to enhance security, military, and law enforcement capabilities by providing high-quality solutions for tactical training. Our goal is to reduce injury risks and costs associated with traditional training methods through advanced virtual reality simulations and data analysis.

Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The CTO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology development and implementation including software development, project management, IT strategy, architecture and product development. the CTO will work closely with the executive team to align technology strategy with the company's business goals and objectives. the CTO will also be responsible for leading, managing, and mentoring the technology team.

Qualifications

• Software development skills, including programming languages such as C#, Python and Unity
• Project management expertise, with experience leading cross-functional teams
• Experience in IT strategy development and execution, including technology roadmaps, policies, and procedures
• Strong architecture skills, with experience designing and implementing complex systems
• Product development experience, with a focus on creating innovative, user-centered solutions
• Proven success in leading teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
• Vast knowledge and experience in game development and Unity a must
• Experience in virtual and augmented reality technologies a plus
• Experience working with military and law enforcement organizations a plus
