Planning and implementation of hardware systems from the definition phase to a product portfolio. The work includes independent work and interaction with subcontractors, in particular for mechanics and equipment issues, integration work, laboratory tests, field tests and prototype production.
Required knowledge and experience:
• Experience in designing digital and analog electronic circuits (board design) (with an emphasis on correct editing) - at least 5 years
• Experience in bringing a product to serial production while writing a product portfolio (DFM, DFT)
• Experience in embedded systems and in particular basic programming skills
• Experience in low power systems, operating from a battery - an advantage
• Experience in SPICE simulation - an advantage
• Experience in communication systems and sensing systems - an advantage
• Experience in planning to comply with environmental conditions specifications - an advantage
• Experience working in LABVIEW - an advantage
• Ability to work with subcontractors and component manufacturers
