VP Business Operations

DRS RADA, A multi-national defense technology company, developing and delivering innovative electronic products for the global defense market, is looking for a VP of Business Operations.

The goal of this position is to ensure the functionality of the business and facilitate significant and sustainable growth.

Reporting to the GM, the executive will focus on operations and business strategies and be the right-hand of the GM.

It is a hands-on, quality-focused position, combining operational leadership with proven business effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Execute the operating plan of the company: product development, product management, customer success and sales, and production
• Design, plan and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
• Set comprehensive goals for business growth and success
• Provide leadership, direction and management to the following subordinate VPs and Directors: Product Development, Production, Quality, Customer Success and Product Management
• Align the operations of the various sites of the company, locally and globally 
• Work cross-functionally to prioritize competing interests and focus project plans on strategic activities
• Collaborate with functional management teams and key business stakeholders to plan and implement strategies for improving business processes 

Requirements:

• Previous working experience as VP Business Operations/COO for 5 years in multidisciplinary (hardware, software/algorithms, mechanics,… ) technology companies; defense technology background – an advantage
• Strong strategic business thinking, track record of decision-making and analytical problem solving, with hands-on and proactive management style
• Proven track record of business operations management and leadership; industrial companies background – an advantage
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Fluent and proficient in the English language
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to work well with executives, and able to lead and influence across multiple functions and geographies of the organization
