What you’ll bring to Vault:

• Leadership Experience: Whether you've been an Engineering Team Lead or a Senior Engineer, we're looking for your ability to lead and inspire.
• Coaching Skills: You have a knack for nurturing engineers and enhancing their understanding of engineering standards and our technical vision.
• Technical Ability: Familiarity with our tech stack (Node.js, React, Typescript, AWS, Cloud-based application development) is a start. More importantly, you should be eager to master the rest.
• Agile Methodology & Engineering Standards: Your experience in agile environments and commitment to engineering excellence (think testing, continuous improvement, frequent deployment) will be key.
• Collaborative Approach: Work seamlessly with Product Managers, peers, and teams to intertwine technical advancements with our strategic vision, prioritising what's most valuable.
• Solution-Driven: Your outcome-focused skills should be top-notch, encouraging open, healthy debate to foster trust and outstanding solutions.
• Adaptability: Thrive in a setting marked by rapid growth, constant change, and a fair share of unknowns.
• Coding & Setting Standards: Your role isn't just about oversight but active engagement. We expect you to roll up your sleeves and dive into coding, setting the bar for engineering standards.
• Unblocking & Accelerating Shipping: In your role, a key priority will be to swiftly identify and remove any obstacles that hinder your team's progress. Your ability to clear the path for rapid, efficient coding and deployment is crucial. Remember, at Vault, shipping code isn't just a task; it's the lifeblood of our technology team and the primary way we deliver value to our customers.

Our Stack:

Vault Platform (https://vaultplatform.com/products) is built with:

• React JS on the front-end
• A backend with Express, NodeJS and GraphQL to tie everything together
• A cross-platform mobile app built using React Native and with secure cryptography modules
• AI powered intake reporting methods and features
• A highly available and fault-tolerant PostgreSQL database and Redux state management
• AWS architecture (ECS, EC2, KMS, RDS) and Terraform
• We use TypeScript across our codebase and use CircleCI to continuously integrate every commit
• We also use Cypress for component testing and end-to-end testing

Joining Vault

Our remote-first working approach means we have teammates all around the world. Each Vault employee (or Vaultie, as we like to call ourselves) has the option to work from home, at a co-working space in their local area, or a combination of the two. But we also believe in the magic that happens when people get together, so each Vaultie will join the Hub closest to them, whether that be in Israel, the US or UK. We then bring each of our Hubs together for Hub Week - a week-long event filled with fun, learning, and collaboration - a few times a year.
