How you’ll spend your day

• The planning team leader is responsible for ensuring stable production and packaging planning and scheduling to secure supply according to stock coverage, safety stocks and delivery dates;
• Ownership of the MPS and capacity planning for assigned technology;
• Ensures strong cooperation / alignment with production to secure right capacity and resources;
• Accountable for plant production and packaging in order to meet customers schedule;
• Plans long-term (months 4+) manufacturing and packaging through utilizing SAP Level loading heuristics module and analyzes the capacity impact;
• Works with Production Planning Director and Production to develop options and accompanying analyses for remediation of over utilized assets;
• Ensures planning data accuracy and optimization of planning parameters;
• Provides detailed plans for production and Quality Control laboratories;
• Defines and maintains inventory policy on all production levels, also with regards to right safety stock levels;
• Supports yearly projects – e.g. AOP, Costing, Routing, BOM (scrap rates);
• Supports local and global forums and requests– e.g. Supply consensus, S&OP, Safety Stock setting etc.;
• Where deviations occur, ensures that they are fully documented and investigated, reported to Quality Assurance in a timely manner, as well as suggests preventive actions for future and ensures execution of such actions assigned;
• Ensures that all work carried out is in compliance with the required standards conforming to company – e.g. cGMP, SOP, Health and Safety and Environmental requirements;
• Responsible for training and qualification of Supply Chain Planning personnel and ensures that the required training is carried out and adapted according to need;
• Leads, staffs, and develops a motivated, skilled and optimally resourced team to ensure that performance levels and professional development achieve or exceed business objectives;
• Proposes and implements continuous improvements.

Your experience and qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration/Economics or similar;
• 4+ years professional experience in Planning department;
• 2+ experience with team leading;
• Highly team orientated;
• Experience in working with strict deadlines with high attention to details;
• Excellent communication skills in an international environment;
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP and BI;
• Customer orientation;
• Participation and leadership in cross functional projects;
• Capable of presenting information to all levels of management with supporting analysis under tight deadlines.
