Data Engineer

An established tech company has developed a platform for monitoring and measuring online media to prevent illicit activities. For instance, detecting fake news, controversial content, and digital fraud. The company aims to make the online world safer and more transparent for the world's major brands. It believes that by utilizing its platform, it not only serves brands but also contributes to making the digital world a slightly safer place.

Role essence: Part of a team of 3 developers, reporting to the CTO.

Technological stack: GCP, DataBricks, Spark, Python, Scala, SQL, BigQuery, Vertica, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Gitlab.

Situated in Tel Aviv near a train station, they implement a hybrid work model of 3 days from home. The company has over 600 global employees, including approximately 100 in Israel.

Who You Are

• 4 years of experience with one of the following languages: Python, Scala or Java.
• Hands-on experience in one of the following: Kafka/Kafka Streams/Spark/Flink/Beam
• Extensive experience in working with SQL/NoSQL Databases and data warehouses such as Databricks,BigQuery,Snowflake,Redshift,Vertica, etc.
• experience working with public cloud providers such as GCP/AWS/Azure
