The Security Commercial Solution Area Team positions the value of our best-in-class cloud security solutions & services to enable enterprise customers and public sector organizations to accelerate successful business outcomes of their digital transformation more securely.

The Microsoft Security Commercial Solutions Area (CSA) empowers businesses, large and small, to confidently move to the cloud and modernize their platforms by delivering security solutions, expertise and services needed to keep their data and applications safe. We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and credible security leader for the role of Cyber Security Solution specialist (SSP) for our top customers across the Enterprise segment.

Responsibilities

Sales Execution: Provides thought leadership on digital transformation across workloads and orchestrates a virtual team to assess Customer's needs to develop strategies that proactively build a stakeholder network to close strategic end-to-end Security opportunities, and drive consumption and licensing transactions and grow business with current and new Customers.

Scaling and Collaboration: Leads the planning, orchestration, and execution on end-to-end Security opportunities with internal stakeholders and partners to cross-sell and up-sell.

Technical breadth:  Enterprise customer level experience with cloud, hybrid infrastructures and adjacent technologies, architecture designs, migrations, and industry standards; broad experience with IaaS and PaaS, and broad Cloud Security; and competitive product knowledge. 

Technical depth.: Domain authority, having enterprise customer level technical experience with design, configuration and implementation of cloud-based Security Solutions.

Technical Expertise: Leads end-to-end Security conversations, shares best practices and key competitor knowledge across solution areas acting as a subject matter expert to inform decisions on pursuit or withdrawal.

Vast and broad Cyber security knowledge and experience including whiteboarding architecture.

Sales Excellence: Leads and plans for strategic accounts across territories, does business analysis to pursue high-potential customers and manages the End-to-End Security business across the organization. Completes required training and obtains relevant product and role certifications aligned to the role and workload/industry.

Additional Details

  • As a trusted advisor to customer CIO, CISO and board, you will be the face of our company’s security initiatives and solutions, responsible for cultivating strong relationships primarily with customer CISOs. Your primary role involves understating their short- and long-term security needs and providing expert guidance to enhance their security posture and grow Microsoft Security share of wallet .

Landing Microsoft as a leader in cybersecurity, ensuring our solutions meet their business objectives.

  • Partner with the account team to develop account planning.
  • Accountable for owning end-to-end security opportunities, pipeline hygiene, and forecast accuracy. Accountable for owning, identifying, creating, and closing Security pipeline by aligning to customer priorities, delivering competitive positioning, and effectively leveraging Microsoft Customer Engagement Methodology (MCEM), eco-system of resources, programs, and tools and orchestrating with main stakeholders.
  • Master Customer Scenarios conversations and proactively deliver solution demonstrations, whiteboarding, etc. to gain customer commitment to our solutions.
  • Partner with TSs and CSAs to define and close technical objections and gain customer commitment to proposed solutions.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of technology-related CTO, presales, technical sales, SE experience in the Cyber domain.
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with implementation, deployment of Cyber Security products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (not a must).
  • Fluent English language

Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

    • Consultative Solution Selling and Challenger mindset. Validated experience in consultative solution selling approach, including bringing innovative ideas to customers problems and being customer focused.
    • Security Operations and Cloud Security Architect. The expertise and ability to integration complex elements and customer requirements into innovations Security Operations and Cloud Security technical architectures.
    • Cloud Trust. High-level expertise in sophisticated identity, authentication, security, privacy, and compliance requirements, and experience integrating them into cloud and hybrid solutions. 
    • Excellent Communicator. People negotiation, organizational, presentation, deep technical product demo, writing, and verbal communication skills.
    • Market Maker. Leadership to influence key technical decision makers, influencers, industry decision makers and boards. 
    • Performer. Highly driven and passionate person who consistently exceeds goals and expectations. 
    • Lead. Able to lead, inspire and mentor members of the Microsoft (or similar) sales, services, and marketing organizations and Microsoft (or similar) partners. 
    • Growth Mindset. Experience and passion for learning (technical and soft skills); implementing practices from others; trying, failing and learning from that; sharing practices and knowledge for others’ benefit.
