Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable and robust backend systems using a modern technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

1. API Development and System Optimization: Lead the design and development of robust APIs, ensuring seamless integration with the front-end team. Oversee database and caching mechanism management within a microservices architecture for optimal performance. 2. Feature Development Lifecycle: Manage the entire lifecycle of features, from initial conception through to production, including planning, development, and comprehensive testing to ensure quality. 3. Cloud Environment Management: Take responsibility for deploying, observing, and monitoring features in a cloud environment, ensuring high availability, and performance of services. 4. Code Quality and Collaboration: Maintain high standards of code quality, participate in code reviews, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives. 5. Mentorship and Leadership: Provide mentorship to junior team members, promoting a culture of learning and growth within the team.

Required Qualifications

- At least 5 years of experience in backend development. - Proficient in Node.js, TypeScript, and frameworks like Express and NestJS. - Experience with Ci/CD pipeline, including setup and configuration – an advantage - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
