Mechanical Design Engineer

We are hiring an experienced and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer at VPG’s location in Holon. This position will utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create detailed mechanical designs for new fixtures, jigs, and workstation modifications.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the maintenance and upkeep of all jigs and fixtures used in the production line.
• Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create detailed mechanical designs for new fixtures, jigs, and workstation modifications
• Ensure all designs adhere to company standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
• Analyze the existing workstations and identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency,

ergonomics, and safety.

• Propose and design modifications or new workstations to enhance productivity and reduce

errors.

• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to implement approved workstation improvements.

Requirements:

BSc Mechanical Engineering

5-10 years in Mechanical Design with a background in Production factories

Mechanical skills and knowledge in Automation/Electronic/Computer/moving systems

Great communications skills, in Hebrew and English

Creativity, leadership ability, Attention to detail, well organized, enjoy challenges
