Software Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking a Software Engineering Team Lead to spearhead and lead our talented group of Software Engineers. We are looking for a visionary individual who can guide a team of developers, embrace challenges, and take charge of the complete development cycle, from conceptualization, research, design, and development, to quality assurance and hands-on implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of designing, building, and advancing technology & architecture.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases for optimal performance and functionality.
• Contribute across all phases of the development lifecycle, enhancing performance, scalability, stability, and tools.
• Demonstrate the ability to rapidly initiate a new codebase and address bugs and features.
• Uphold industry best practices.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of software development/engineering experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of distributed in-memory architecture using cache (Memcached, Redis, etc.).
• Experience with Big Data solutions (Spark, Parquet) and substantial messaging infrastructures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Proficiency in NoSQL solutions (Cassandra, Druid, Impala, Presto).
• Strong background in cloud services (Amazon EC2, Kubernetes, Helm, Spot).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/work experience.
