Data Engineer Tech Lead

A global Ad tech company that provides advertising solutions for both advertisers and publishers. The company develops highly complex DATA systems, handling 5 billion requests per day and recommending its ads within 200 milliseconds in real-time for each request. This is achieved through 18 microservices.

The company has two main centers: one in the United States and the other in Israel, where the majority of the technology teams are located, including development, support, and data. Each unit operates as an independent business entity but complements the other.

The role involves overseeing the Data team, collaborating with three other Data developers under the Head of Data. The focus of the role is on the business aspects, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipeline construction and warehouse building.

Technological stack includes Python, Apache Spark, Linux, Redshift, Pentaho, Tableau, AWS, and K8S. The team is based in the central region and incorporates remote work into their daily routine.

Profile and Experience:

· 3 years of relevant experience as Data Engineer

· 2 years of proven experience in Python

· Advanced level of SQL

· Experience in Spark - a strong advantage.

· Experience using web/cloud services and AWS in particular - a strong advantage.

· Experience in data visualization tools and Tableau in particular - a strong advantage.
