Deep Learning Expert for Clinical Applications at SAMPL Lab in Weizmann Institute of Science

The Signal Acquisition, Modeling, Processing and Learning (SAMPL) lab at Weizmann Institute of Science (WIS), is looking for an experienced deep learning expert for computer vision to work on and lead technology research projects in the field of medical imaging and medical data.

Experience required with development of algorithms for medical imaging, use of image processing tools, computer vision, machine learning, state-of-the-art AI algorithms and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, OpenCV etc.). Candidates will work with leading medical institutions in Israel and around the world and lead the clinical AI activities in the lab.

Requirements:

·        M.Sc./Ph.D. in electrical engineering / computer science / physics or equivalent.

·        Over 5 years of research and development in industry and/or academy of computer vision algorithms.

·        Over 3 years of Python development experience.

·        Over 3 years of hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks and practical experience in developing algorithms in the field of computer vision.

·        Experience in working with medical data - an advantage.

·        Matlab, GIT, Linux experience - an advantage.

·        Fluent in English
