Position Summary:

The Import/Export specialist has an overall responsibility to manage and monitor our daily shipping and distribution operations. Import/Export specialist will be the one to ensure raw materials shipments are imported and complete orders shipped and delivered in a timely manner. liaise with customers, suppliers and freight forwarders companies.

Part time – 50%-60% position.

Responsibilities:

• Controlling and managing the entire import and export activities

• Managing the deliveries inbound & outbound (Air freight, FCL, LCL and courier shipments)

• Responsibility for import processes, working with customs brokers.

• Tracking and tracing deliveries on a daily basis.

• Dealing with courier and forwarding companies on logistic and commercial aspects

• Maintaining effective relationships with Clients, Carriers, Freighters, Production, Customs, and Vendors.

• Working with Standards Institute (SII) and Ministry of communication.

• Managing sales orders in company ERP system, issuing export documents

• Customers focal point in terms of sales order confirmation, updating delivery dates, shipping information

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in similar positions in a global company

• Experience in working with government offices (communication, economy) including customs clearance

• Experience in managing the entire import and export activities; Import of raw material for production and R&D samples, Export of our products abroad (Air and Ocean). Maintain shipping records. (Packing, Shipping, regulation, documentation, etc).

• Experience in logistics & Forwarding, Exposure to international shipping and/or different shipping carriers (Solid knowledge of logistics procedures)

• Excellent verbal and written English skills – Mandatory

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word etc)

• Experience working with ERP system- advantage
