Project Manager

The Sub Saharan Africa unit at Netafim is looking to hire a Project Manager.

The position will be responsible for project management in the Sub Saharan Africa unit, from execution to project hand over, according to Netafim methodology.

Support projects pre-sale activities – lead management, data collection, proposal preparation up to contract signature.

Support the establishment and implementation of project management procedures, processes and tools.

Major areas of responsibility, main processes, tasks:

1. Establish project work programs and maintain management and control routines (time, budget, QA, Change Request, supply, etc.).
2. Support the business unit in executing its projects business strategy by supporting pre-sales activities, finalizing action plans, converting initiatives into R&R and building work plans.
3. Assist in developing and assimilating Project management culture in the unit.

Required Knowledge and experience

• Experience in project management and team management – Must.
• Excellent computer skills (MS-Office, MS-Project) – Must.
• Bachelor in Management, engineering (civil, mechanical, industrial) or economics.
• Previous experience managing global projects.
• Formal project management education and certification - Advantage
• Technical understanding (reading drawings and spec's) - Advantage
• Previous experience in reading and understanding legal documents
• Familiarity with business culture processes and terminology
• Languages: English – Excellent Proficiency.
• Willingness to travel abroad.
