Senior Software Security Engineer

We are looking for a really good software engineer with the sort of expertise you need to write secure mission critical software for the world’s largest banks and financial institutions. We are looking for the sort of people who have implemented cryptographic algorithms, who have built scalable web services that have never been broken into, and who can balance security and usability while making sure that the data they protect remains protected, always, even in the face of fallible human nature.

Responsibilities

●       Design and implement security features for the Lightbits complete data platform, a complex high performance system that runs on premises and in multiple clouds.

●       Write high quality, secure, high-performance software in a variety of programming languages including but not limited to golang, C, C++, Python, and rust.

Desired Skills and Experience

●       Excellent knowledge and experience in building secure software. Familiarity with common exploits and their mitigation. Offensive capabilities are an advantage. Experience with fuzzing is an advantage. Experience with encryption and key management is an advantage.

●       Deep familiarity with Linux systems is required; storage and networking experience is an advantage.

●       Excellent knowledge and experience in multiple programming languages. You should have a very good grasp and experience building real systems with at least one of C/C++/golang/Python/rust. golang and Python experience is an advantage.

●       Ability to work independently and push through to completion. We value getting things done.

●       2+ years of experience as a senior software security engineer.

●       A bachelor’s degree from a leading university in computer science or software engineering with an average grade of 80 and above is desired but we’ll consider commensurate experience instead.

Senior Software Security Architect

We are looking for a really good software architect with the sort of expertise you need to architect secure mission critical software for the world’s largest banks and financial institutions. We are looking for the sort of people who can write exploits and know how to defend against them, who shudder at code that does not verify its inputs, who can design secure APIs, and who can educate and mentor fellow engineers. The position is based in Kfar Saba, Israel and is open for remote candidates.

Responsibilities

●       Architect, design and implement security features for the Lightbits complete data platform, a complex high performance system that runs on premises and in multiple clouds.

●       Educate and mentor fellow engineers in the finer points of designing and implementing well-crafted secure software and cloud services.

●       Write high quality, secure, high-performance software in a variety of programming languages including but not limited to golang, C, C++, Python, and rust.
