Senior Quality Engineer

The company is a leading defense tech company, with global presence, focused on proprietary radar solutions and legacy avionics systems, as well as mini-tactical radar solutions for active military protection, counter drone applications, critical infrastructure protection, and border surveillance applications.

They are looking for an outstanding experienced Senior Quality Engineer. This is a core role within the company where you will be ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained in their products in the development phase.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the quality expert and develop quality plans and strategies to ensure the developed product meets specified quality standards.
• Develop and write quality processes and procedures. Ensuring the product complies with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications.
• Create documentation, such as test cases, test plans, and quality records.
• Assess potential risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigating the root causes of defects and working to prevent their recurrence.
• Identify areas for process improvement and working with development teams to enhance product quality.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product quality and report on these metrics to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers, to ensure quality is integrated throughout the development process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electronics / Mechanics / Electronics / Mechanics / Another related field)
• At least 3 years of solid experience as a Quality Engineer in product development of complex hardware-based systems regulated under AS9100 standard requirements.
• Knowledge of quality control tools and methodologies. For example: Six Sigma, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and SPC (Statistical Process Control)
• Proven experience in NPI methodologies
• CQE – advantage
