Senior Backend Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer, You Will

• Be a part of a successful tech startup that translates our vision into a solid SaaS product that performs, scales and is easy to use
• Develop complex systems and services that run in production at scale
• Explore & learn new fields, APIs and cutting-edge technologies including AI and NLP
• Write tons of code with very little supervision, while collaborating with the other team members
• Independently drive execution of complex projects that require cross-team communication and coordination
• Own and drive to improve the team's services, architecture and flows
• Collaborate with product management and designers, presenting opinionated recommendations and suggestions
• Provide substantial mentorship and guidance to less experienced developers in the team, and outside the team
  
  

You Should Apply If You Are

• A software engineer with significant hands-on experience in developing cloud-based web applications
• 5+ years of industry experience in backend development with large scale, especially Java server
• Have a good understanding of web applications – both at the data level and at the architecture level
• Preferably with a degree in computer science or similar
• Someone who enjoys having responsibility and a sense of ownership of the created product
• Most importantly, a person who enjoys working in a team with very strong peers
  
  

This position requires Israeli residence.
