Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) as a Service

As a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) as a Service, you will be responsible for overseeing the cybersecurity operations of our company. This unique role combines executive leadership with hands-on technical capabilities, making it ideal for a cybersecurity expert who can balance strategic vision with tactical execution.

Essential:

• Cybersecurity Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy tailored to the gaming industry's specific challenges, including protecting player data, preventing cheating, and ensuring game integrity.
• Security Architecture: Design and maintain a robust security architecture for our gaming platforms, ensuring the highest level of protection against cyber threats.
• Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts, including coordinating with internal teams and external partners, to mitigate security incidents promptly.
• Threat Detection: Implement advanced threat detection and monitoring tools to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities and potential breaches proactively.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant gaming industry regulations, standards, and best practices, such as UKGC, PCI, GDPR, ISO 27001, and OWASP.
• Security Awareness: Foster a security awareness and training culture among employees and stakeholders (such as phishing campaigns, SDLC, etc.).
• Vendor Security: Evaluate and manage the security posture of third-party vendors and partners, ensuring they meet our security standards.
• Risk Assessment: Evaluate the security risks and manage the mitigation process (including- privileges access reviews, penetration tests, etc).
• Recommend changes to policies, standards and procedures.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proven Experience in the Gaming industry – Advantage
• Gaming Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the unique security challenges and trends in the gaming industry.
• Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with cybersecurity technologies, including Microsoft Azure and AWS security postures, intrusion detection systems, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Regulatory Expertise: Knowledge of gaming industry regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute a long-term cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.
