Linux Kernel Engineer

abra R&D is seeking a skilled Embedded Linux Software Engineer:

abra R&D Solutions leads the market by adopting innovative technologies & providing top-notch development solutions, and now we are looking for you - a Fullstack team lead that will be responsible for managing and establishing a team of 6 software engineers.

With at least 3 years of experience in Firmware/Software programming in embedded Linux target, the candidate shall have a very good understanding of ARM processor architecture and experience in product development with SOC. Development experience with Network drivers and framework will be suitable. The candidate will be responsible for development, deployment and integration of network components.

Job Description:

• Design, code and integrate software for an embedded Linux target (applications, drivers)
• Interact with Linux kernel, and develop new device drivers for
• Customization, deployment, and maintenance of Linux distribution on different hardware platformsאני
• Improve and maintain existing software components.
• Performing HW-SW Debug and bring-up activities.
• Perform unit test, verification and validation of the product developed.
• Coordinate the transfer to production.
• Developing C++ tests

What you'll need to succeed?

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science or equivalent
• 3 years of experience of embedded Linux programming
• Strong Knowledge of Linux kernel and device-driver development
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Network programming
• Expert in C programming with RTOS
• Very strong knowledge of Linux, ARM processor architecture with SOC/FPGA
