About the team:

We are looking for new members to join the Recommendation Platform team in our Central Tech department. This team is responsible for creating personalized recommendations for our users and plays a vital role in our new GenAI project - The AI Trip Planner. You will have the opportunity to work with top engineers and data scientists, using advanced technologies and models to enhance the user experience.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Collect, clean, and analyze data: Work closely with data scientists and data engineers to gather, prepare, and transform large datasets for modeling. Use data analysis techniques to discover insights and improve model performance.
• Evaluate and optimize models: Conduct thorough evaluation and validation of models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalability. Fine-tune models by adjusting key parameters and applying advanced techniques.
• Create machine learning models: Collaborate with scientists to design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and algorithms that provide personalized recommendations to users.
• Integrate models into production: Work with software engineers to integrate machine learning models into our systems. Ensure smooth deployment and efficient real-time model inference. Implement effective monitoring and maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into machine learning solutions. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  
  

Role Qualifications and Requirements:

We are looking for individuals who are problem solvers, proactive in finding solutions, and believe that challenges can be overcome with the right mindset and tools.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role, with a successful track record of delivering ML solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
• Experience with cloud frameworks like AWS Sagemaker and training models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience working with large datasets using MySQL, Pyspark, Snowflake, or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using tools like NumPy, pandas, and matplotlib.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical models, and data structures.
• Experience with experimental design, A/B testing, and evaluation metrics for ML models.
• Experience working on products that impact a large customer base is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
