Company Description

Drone-Lander is a privately-owned startup company located in Center District, Israel, that was established in 2022. The company is developing essential components for the future drone market, utilizing smart materials, mechanics, electromechanics, and software, among other technologies. We recently completed our first financing round and are accelerating our activity to complete our first-generation product development.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site, Smart martials R&D senior manger role located in Center District, Israel, with Drone-Lander. The role will be leading a team of developers in smart material research and development, with a focus on developing novel and unique materials for the drone market.

Qualifications

• PhD / Msc. In Chemistry, / MSc, Chemical Engineering, specialization Smart Materials Science or related discipline.
• Proven experience in developing new smart materials, polymers and actuators through research and development processes for commercial and industrial applications,
• The ability to lead a team of developers and work cross-departmentally in a multidisciplinary team of engineers, developers, and researchers
• Experience in managing the R&D lab.
• Experience with data analysis and materials testing methodologies.
• Self-study ability, risk analysis, problem identification, problem solving, prioritization.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Hebrew
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
