Senior Quality and Reliability Engineer

The Hardware Quality and Reliability Engineer will provide leadership and management for the quality function and sustain the quality philosophy for the organization. Establish, maintain and optimize an effective quality management system. Create and implement a quality plan to achieve the levels of quality established through organizational goals, customer expectations, and related partners. Enhance and improve products by working towards problem-solving tools, prevention methods, quality-at-the-source and continual improvement techniques. Management Representative for Quality Systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, develop and lead quality assurance processes and methods
• Responsible for customer quality issues and ensure and working with other members and managers to resolve
• Responsible to ensure the organization is maintaining adherence to quality control plans and processes
• Maintain and enhance product design development, verification and validation processes, to allow high quality of interconnects and systems products throughout the entire product life cycle and improvement plan by establishing scorecards
• Drive for Quality process improvement initiatives to reduce customer complaints and internal scrap, drive internal quality mindset
• Maintain and oversee the document control and quality record system, oversee the corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) system/database
  
  

• B.Sc. in Metallurgy or Material Science, other technical degrees will be considered
• 8+ years preferred in leadership and manufacturing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer relation skills and ability to interact at a high level with all levels of the organization
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Knowledgeable in root cause analysis and corrective action
• Ability to take part in continuous education and training
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  
  

• Knowledge in semiconductor process and design
• Experience in optical device manufacturing and design
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability, processes oriented
• Ability to provide strong servant leadership to support team members.
