Controller - replacement for a long maternity leave

Guideline is looking for a talented and highly motivated controller to join our finance department. The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Role & responsibilities:

Full responsibility for the group's and subsidiary companies' accounting reporting.

Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs.

Implementation of the group's accounting policy in the subsidiary companies.

Prepare the group's consolidated financial reports and presentations for management and the board of directors.

Responsibility for tax planning at the group and subsidiary level.

Compile and analyze financial statements.

Requirements:

Certified public accountant - mandatory.

Experience in an accountant role in a public company.

Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals.

Experience in consolidating reports.

Broad knowledge in IFRS.

Familiarity with Conto software.

Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Experience in closing monthly reports.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to meet deadlines and goals.

Attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and in a team.
