SEO Team Lead

About The Role

As an SEO team leader, you will lead and manage a team of SEO specialists and be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks to maximize ROI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute successful SEO strategies
• Manage team of SEO Specialists
• Constantly conduct keyword research to guide content team
• Research keyword trends
• Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
• Optimize website content and landing pages
• Perform analysis, collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects
• Monitor the algorithms set by the search engines to keep up to date
• Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies and understand the SEO efforts of competitors
• Constantly update quality content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
• Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)

Requirements and skills

• 5+ years of proven experience in SEO - Must
• 2+ years experience in the gaming industry - Must
• 1+ year experience in managing high-performing teams - Must
• Strong track record of successfully developing and executing SEO strategies that have resulted in significant organic search growth and improved search engine rankings
• Strong Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
• Good Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
• Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis
• An ability to research and analyze competitive analysis within the industry
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS , & WordPress
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Semrush, Console, WebTrends, etc
• Willingness to keep abreast of industry innovations
• Strong leadership skills
• Enthusiasm and knowledge of the Gaming industry - Must
