Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to be our first and build our data infrastructure from scratch. The chosen individual will play a pivotal role in converting business and product specifications into data analytics solutions, collaborating closely with developers and business stakeholders throughout the company. If you have a knack for building, from scratch, data analytics solutions that deliver clarity and promote data-driven decisions, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of our data: from pipelines to models, be one of our data maestros.
• Help to identify the right solution for development challenges related to DB (which DB to use and how).
• Design and build data storage, processing, and access systems that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Define solutions architecture.
• Select and test technologies.
• Design data models. 
• Build data pipelines and automation processes.
• Collaborate effectively with developers to define data requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer/Data Architect.
• Experience in developing ETL processes from scratch.
• Experience in building Analytics products for external customers.
• Excel in teamwork, critical thinking, adaptability, problem analysis, initiative, communication skills, risk-taking, and planning & and organizing.
• Expert in SQL and analytical DBs.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills – can communicate clear technical solutions to complex data problems to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong Coding skills.
