FinOps Specialist

MidLink, Emet Technologies’ cloud division is looking for a FinOps Expert to assist our customers optimized and reduce their AWS services cost.

MidLink is an AWS Consulting Partner, constituting a one-stop-shop for all Cloud migration and modernization needs. We design well-architected cloud strategies, accurate methodology and tools for Cloud enablement and transformation.

What will your job look like?

·        Analyze, optimize, and implement cost optimization actions over different cloud services and plans

·        Work closely with customers’ financial and technical teams, understand their needs and provide guidance throughout the optimization process.

·        Working with in-house advanced tools that help maximizing the customers cost optimization

·        Create financial and usage dashboards

Requirements:

·        At least 1-2 years’ experience as a FinOps Engineer.

·        Experience with AWS services, architecture, and tools

·        Superior analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills

·        Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools

·        Analytical and quantitative skills with hands-on experience in cloud demand forecasting, and cost optimization

·        Have hands-on experience with Python and SQL - Advantage

·        Ability to handle relationships with customers to drive cost-efficiencies

·        Communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact at all levels

·        End-to-end process management capability
