Operation Center Team Leader

The role of Payload Operations Center Team Leader is pivotal in ensuring the efficient management of a communication system. This position entails comprehensive responsibilities, including planning of service and maintenance operations, real-time tracking, monitoring, and adept problem-solving. The successful candidate will need to employ hands-on technical expertise to lead the integration of a Payload Ground Management system, while continually enhancing payload capabilities across various ground and satellite systems. This role necessitates a deep technological acumen, substantial mission operations experience, exemplary leadership and collaborative skills, and the capacity to thrive under high-pressure conditions.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish and lead a world wide team of application engineers and operators responsible for managing

payload activities.

2. Provide round-the-clock support for commercial cellular services and satellite health maintenance.

3. Customizing and enhancing capabilities through new applications and scripts.

4. Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure the necessary functionality of

payload systems, both on the ground and within the satellites.

5. Actively participate in simulations and testing procedures alongside engineering teams to enhance

readiness for mission operations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

2. Confirmed experience in managing the operations, support, and maintenance of high-scale command-and-control

systems or other technology-driven operation centers.

3. Previous experience in telecommunications or RF systems is an advantage.

4. Proficiency in utilizing scripting languages, particularly Python, to customize system capabilities.

5. Proven ability to handle high-responsibility roles, make mission-critical decisions, and excel in

problem-solving under pressure.

6. Ability to adapt and work effectively in a demanding, 24/7 shift-based environment, particularly during

mission operations.

7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with key stakeholders.

8. Proficiency in English.
