Senior Network Engineer

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, or related degree.
• 3+ years’ experience in a production network environment.
• 2+ years of experience with the Linux and Windows operating systems.  
• 3+ years experience in Deep networking knowledge
• 3+ years’ experience in implementing and managing Network and Security devices and protocols (Load balancers A10, A5, Firewall, Network Routing, Load Balancers, Host-based AV and FW solutions)
• 3+ years of Experience with logical design models and network protocols. 
• 3+ years of experience with Authentication protocols and method 
• 3+ years of Kubernetes environment network

It would be great if you also have...

• Experience with Python scripting and automation 
• Understand LAN/WAN and transport technologies. 
• Knowledge of how other IT systems (applications, SaaS products, end-user devices, servers) interact with the network. 
• Capacity to learn and master new technologies and knowledge with an attention to detail. 
• Excellent research and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze, compare, evaluate, reconcile, and order data. 

What will you be doing in this role?

The Network engineer's responsibility includes researching, implementing, and monitoring network and security devices and architectures for the Exlibris Private cloud. 

As a Network engineer, you will need to utilize your deep knowledge of Network engineering to perform the implementation, operational support, maintenance, and optimization of the Network and Security infrastructure. 

About the Team

The team consists of 3 team members and is reporting to the network team manager. The team itself is part of a larger Network team in Clarivate. We have a great skill set in cloud networks. You will be part of a highly professional team and work together with them to shape our emerging on-premise cloud solution while using innovative technologies.

Our base is in the Jerusalem, Israel office, working in a hybrid model.      

This is a full-time position.
