Research And Development Scientist

CollPlant Biotechnologies, located in Rehovot, Israel, is developing technologies in the fields

of regenerative medicine, 3D bioprinting of tissues and organs and medical aesthetics. We are

looking for a talented and highly motivated R&D Scientist to join our team.

Responsibilities and duties

• Intense hands-on work in chemistry & biology laboratory, working with different cell types, proteins, polymers and reagents.

• Formulations development for biofabrication applications, including 3D-bioprinting

• Multi-component formulations preparation and optimization, chemical and physical characterization including rheometry and mechanical analysis

• In-vitro studies including cell-assays performance and fluorescent microscopy

• Analytical testing, including protein and polymer chemistry, spectroscopy and relevant biochemistry assays • Documenting experiments, and analyzing results

• Writing protocols and reports

• Lab work according to protocols.

• Adhere to project timelines and product development schedule.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biology

• At least 2-years work experience (hands-on) in formulation development under R&D environment - mandatory.

• Hands-on experience with synthetic and natural polymers - mandatory.

• Hands-on experience in tissue culture lab- high advantage.

• High proficiency in English and writing skills.

• Energetic multi-tasker who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Adaptable to changing tasks, assigned responsibilities, and priorities.

• Ability to work as part of functional and cross-functional teams.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, high accountability, precise work and attention to detail.

• Excellent interpersonal communication
