As the SerDes System Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding the development of SerDes technology within our organization. You will lead a team of engineers responsible for designing, simulating, and optimizing high-speed data communication interfaces. Your expertise will be crucial in driving innovation, ensuring quality, and meeting project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of SerDes engineers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Define and manage team goals, performance expectations, and development plans.
SerDes Design and Development:
Oversee the end-to-end design and development of SerDes systems for high-speed data transmission.
Simulation and Testing:
Coordinate the design verification process through simulation and testing, ensuring the performance, integrity, and compliance of SerDes components.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with other teams such as hardware, software, and system integration to ensure seamless SerDes integration into our products.
Technology Research and Innovation:
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies and apply this knowledge to enhance the SerDes technology stack.
Project Management:
Manage project timelines, allocate resources, and track progress to ensure on-time delivery of SerDes solutions.
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control measures, methodologies, and best practices to ensure the reliability and robustness of SerDes systems.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of designs, specifications, and test results.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in the design and development of high-speed SerDes technology.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in industry-standard SerDes design tools and simulation software.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements for SerDes systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
