Financial Planning and Analysis

Description:

You will be responsible for planning and analysis of the company’s financial operations to drive strategic decision-making and budgetary control. Working closely with stakeholders, you will deliver essential financial insights that influence key decisions, rooted in a diverse range of financial analyses. We are seeking a professional with demonstrated FP&A experience, one who has either partnered with or led projects involving numerous stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess acute analytical skills, a solid grasp of financial concepts, excellent presentation abilities, and the capacity to collaborate across different functions. You should also be able to efficiently prioritize and progress multiple tasks within a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain a financial planning and analysis (FP&A) framework for the bank, including business planning tools and monthly actuals versus projections

· Execute the full cycle of rolling forecasts, the original budget, and the long-range financial plan

· Collaborate with the Head of Budget to oversee and manage the company's budget.

· Serve as a trusted financial partner to internal stakeholders, supporting budgeting, resource

allocation, and return on investment (ROI) assessments

· Participate in strategic planning discussions

· Translate plans from commercial, marketing, and other functions into financial terms

· Create reports to enhance visualization for financial management

· Standardize calculations for budgeting and financial analysis purposes

Requirements:

• 5-6 years of experience in a similar capacity within a multi-disciplinary organization
• CPA with experience in Big 4 accounting firms
• Analytical mind with exceptional attention to detail
• Efficient and creative problem-solver, comfortable with ambiguity, complexity, and nuance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Oracle
• Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast-changing environment
• Capable of leading projects with fast-evolving priorities and taking full ownership
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill financial data into concise, actionable insights
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Self-starter and be able to work with minimal oversight, entrepreneurial drive, with demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• A professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills, adept at influencing and engaging with various management levels and operational teams throughout the organization
