QA Engineer

Lab42 is seeking a QA Engineer to join our R&D group. We are looking for over-the-top talents who know how to deliver complex projects. People that can explore, design, recommend and develop from scratch innovative ideas and drive a sophisticated product to production – while being a team player able to empower, tutor, and educate a development team

As a QA Engineer you will:

• Conduct comprehensive testing of web applications to identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to cybersecurity web application testing.
• Perform manual and automated security testing of web application functionality, user interfaces, and compatibility across various browsers and devices.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand project requirements, user stories, and security requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication regarding security concerns and testing progress.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Maintain and expand our web application test suite, test data, and testing environments.
• Assist in the analysis and root cause investigation of web application issues, and collaborate on solutions with development teams.
• Stay up-to-date with cybersecurity best practices, emerging web technologies, and QA trends to enhance our security testing processes.
  
  

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist with a focus on web applications.
• Strong knowledge of web application QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with web testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) and frameworks.
• Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API testing is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) and web testing certifications are advantageous.
