R&D Team Lead

Today, customers use the Avalor Data Fabric for next-generation Vulnerability Prioritization Technology, overlaying all data related to weaknesses or adversaries with critical business context to achieve informed full cycle risk assessment, remediation, and reporting. But this is just the beginning! Avalor is the critical center of security operations data and with full transparency into their data, security teams can unlock limitless use cases to support their organizational needs.

As part of this mission, we are seeking a passionate R&D Team Leader to join our team. If you are a motivated leader with a proven track record of delivering results, nurturing team growth, and you are willing to make a meaningful impact, this opportunity is for you! You will play a role in leading the effort of pulling data from external sources into Avalor’s platform. You will have the opportunity to guide, motivate, and support your team to achieve a critical part of the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Software Engineers, in all aspects while emphasizing personal example and hands-on capabilities
• Deliver results/projects with high-quality software on tight schedules
• Own the monitoring, alerting, performance improvement, and troubleshooting of the team’s microservices
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and maximize efficiency
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, with a proven track record of achieving team objectives
• Hands-on experience (Preferably in Java, Python, k8s, and containers)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities concurrently
• Proven experience in delivering projects from start to finish
• Problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
