Responsibilities

• Assess and select suppliers based on quality, cost, capacity, and reliability to ensure they meet our standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers to identify areas for improvement and provide guidance and support for process enhancements.
• Develop and implement quality control plans, process audits, and quality assurance initiatives to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Investigate and address supplier-related issues, such as non-conformances, quality discrepancies, and delivery delays, in a timely and effective manner.
• Work with suppliers to drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on quality, cost, and efficiency enhancements.
• Identify potential risks within the supply chain and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Foster open and transparent communication with suppliers to ensure mutual understanding of expectations and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing, to align supplier performance with company goals.
• Ensure that suppliers adhere to industry and regulatory standards and certifications.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering/Material Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in Supplier Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
• Experience from regulated organizations, preferably- Medical Devices
• Team player
• High level of proficiency in both spoken and written English
• Proficiency in handling a variety of documentation and bureaucratic processes
• Details oriented
