Senior Account Manager - Social & Influencer

Based in Sydney, this role will be an integral part of the Australian social and digital team. You will be a creative and strategic Senior Account Manager who knows how to decipher a brief, manage and develop social strategy for local and global clients, tell compelling stories, and launch an effective influencer campaign or annual strategy.

About You:

You will have a proven track record in creating impactful social-first campaigns, using platforms to achieve business and marketing goals, including increasing brand consideration, driving action and deepening engagement across social and influencer spaces.

You will be responsible for developing and managing social media campaigns, content and channel strategies, influencer management, content development and reporting on measurement frameworks.

Reporting to the Head of Social & Influencer, you will be at the forefront of delivering and evolving Edelman Australia’s social and digital offering to clients.

As a Senior Social Account Manager, we expect you to understand how to speak to audiences across the social media ecosystem in new and impactful ways. You will be up to date with the latest digital technologies, social media trends and best practice. You should have excellent communication skills.

Your Skills:

• Proven social media experience including influencer within an agency environment (4+ years),
• Experience in a client service capacity serving as the day-to-day client contact. Demonstrated ability to address client concerns effectively,

• Strong presentation skills and experience imparting knowledge to junior team members,
• Desire and know how to grow, support and mentor junior team members,
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video),

• Excellent communication skills,
• Analytical and multitasking skills,
• Understanding of media buying and paid social preferred,
