Account Supervisor, Corporate Digital

In this Account Supervisor role, you will have the opportunity to lead corporate communications and public affairs in the digital space, pushing the boundaries of digital content, analytics, and creativity on behalf of global companies, CEOs, and causes. Responsibilities:

• Support the creation of communications and plans that meet client objectives in the areas of social media strategy, digital platform and campaign development, research, and analytics
• Join integrated account teams, infusing digital elements such as content development, community management, social best practices counsel, channel recommendations, and analytics into PR and communications programs
• Write social content for an informed business audience and in multiple voices
• Develop social monitoring programs to inform strategy
• Support day-to-day account management and serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing issues thoughtfully and effectively
• Delegate to junior staff and help motivate and coach team members; manage up to senior staff and consistently provide feedback that helps drive efficiency
• Coordinate with other discipline experts (e.g., earned media, paid media, design), as needed
• Manage multiple projects from concept to completion by anticipating challenges, troubleshooting problems, proposing solutions, offering client counsel, overseeing quality, and ensuring deadline and budget adherence
• Research and evaluate new social channels, content opportunities, real-time conversations, and influential voices participating online; closely track communications marketing trends to bring fresh thinking and best practices to clients
• Contribute to business growth by introducing clients to new capabilities, building a network of industry contacts, and participating in relevant professional organizations
• Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in public relations and/or social media marketing for brands and executives.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as analytical skills, including strong writing for social media
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and best practices
• Proven ability to manage workload, function as a daily client contact, and execute plans to meet client goals
• Demonstrated ability to delegate and accurately judge and edit the work of others
• Strong organizational, scheduling, and time/project management skills; possess the ability to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously
• Superior verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with digital tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sysomos, Brandwatch
  
  

$69,000 - $108,000 a year

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
