Senior Event Producer

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced events producer to join Edelman’s marketing function in UK that is responsible for maintaining, and growing Edelman’s brand and reputation.

The marketing function acts as a strategic partner across the Edelman network, collaborating across all areas of the business to drive growth and attract and retain talent.

In this role you will produce and strategically plan and manage high value business-to-business events in partnership with the Associate Director of Events to include panel events (online & in person), high-end roundtable dinners, activations, large-scale employee engagements events).

Responsibilities in partnership with the Associate Director of Events:

• Oversee and manage Edelman UK’s busy event programme (internal and external audiences) ensuring that all events and their content support the business strategy and priorities
• Organise all aspects of Edelman’s event logistics including venue sourcing, all associated logistics (production, catering and venue management etc), and event collateral
• Accountable for producing high-quality events (virtual and in person) consumed live or on demand, landing key messages and brand experiences to drive business growth, employee engagement and build reputation of Edelman.
• Build out a programme of events that create opportunities to engage and entertain clients. Including management of key partnerships across London that offer client engagement opportunities
• Build out a programming of activities and events for Edelman’s UK employees that supports the culture within the firm.
• Provide event expertise to manage an event from initial idea/concept through to completion. Ensure successful project management of multiple stakeholders/briefs.
• Sharing best practices and providing mentorship to junior staff, and other members across the business you are engaging and partnering with.
• Managing key senior stakeholders, you should have the ability to work with and motivate a team, lending support, and collaborating with colleagues or partners to deliver projects
  
  

Requirements:

• Experience in events production at a senior level
• Proven experience of excellent commercial acumen and knowledge of managing events from implementation through to completion in a b2b corporate environment
• Extensive experience of producing creative events (online, in person and hybrid) from brief to completion, good editorial standards and sound production expertise Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good understanding of the current affairs agenda and key global trends
• Good knowledge of the cultural zeitgeist particularly on new venues, trends and themes in London
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
• Experience with social media management and content creation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings
