PR Senior Account Manager - Brand/Lifestyle/Travel

Edelman is currently on the lookout for a stellar Senior Account Manager to join our Brand team. You will need a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a PR agency on big name clients or in house.

The position offers the opportunity to work with some of the most innovative brands and people in Australia and across the globe. You must possess a positive can-do attitude and the desire to work on campaigns that transcend traditional PR and encompass all aspects of creative content, social media and digital.

About the role:

• You will be a phenomenal media relationships expert – we want to know who you’re pitching stories to and why!
• You will be a team player and a team leader – this role will have you leading campaigns of some of our key accounts.
• You will have a constant ear to the ground on industry trends that affect the client and adapt communication programs to respond to the ever-changing media landscape.
• You will have impeccable written and spoken communications skills.
• You will be able to not just think outside the box – we want you to have the freedom to think outside of the space that lies beyond that. We want you to think ‘What if?’ and play in that space…

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years' experience working in consumer/brand communications in a PR agency or in house.
• Proven ability to engage with clients, senior business leaders, stakeholders with the requisite professionalism and sound judgment.
• Outstanding account and time management skills – experience working across multiple accounts/projects and the ability to deliver work in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a proven ability to project manage communication programs for leading businesses and brands; work well with partners; as well as the ability to interact and mentor others within their team.
• Strong media and stakeholder relations experience and sense for what is driving the news and social agendas.
