The opportunity
The Internal Channels Platform Expert focuses on management of assigned platforms, and stakeholder management, building relationships with Teva employees around the world who use and/or administer those platforms.
The platform expert oversees ensures that platform KPIs are met, that processes are standardized and embedded, and that the platform grows in an organized and customer-focused way.
He/she partners with global stakeholders and country communication leads to understanding their requirements and content requests, to prioritize and execute new features according to business needs.
The current 2024 platform assignments of this platform expert are planned to include:
- the Poppulo platform for email communications, including new templates for global emails and newsletters, and the interface with HR systems to compile distribution lists.
- Teva’s ideation platform
- myteva Communities (TBC)
How you’ll spend your day
- Technical platform management: understand and lead optimal use of the platform technically and strategically; define technical ways the platform could help users meet new communications needs.
- Ongoing stakeholder management: Listen to and understand requests for platform updates and new features and functionality.
- Lead meetings with stakeholders regarding their requests for new platform content or features, and think proactively about their potential future needs and requirements.
- Work cooperatively with various teams and functions in and out of the organization, including: Content Managers, Country Communication Leads, Platform Build Specialists, Project Managers, IT, platform vendors and more.
- Facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and external partners.
- Governance: Establishing governance and capturing and sharing knowledge to enable a positive and efficient experience for administrators, and a standard employee user experience across Teva.
- Platform growth: Grow the platform usage in an organized and customer-focused way, ensuring a consistent user experience/alignment with the broader Internal Channels strategy.
- Training and knowledge management: Ensure approved authors/administrators and/or relevant Corporate Affairs employees (respectively) have a standard solid base/skill set and knowledge level in the platform
- Proactively engage the community of content managers to ensure quality of content and platform reputation.
- Promote knowledge capture and reuse through operational and business processes.
- Facilitate Knowledge Management strategic planning and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Planning and insights: Leverage data and insights to design and implement improvements to the employee journey in order to maximize employee engagement.
- Plan, develop, and/or promote collaborative tools and techniques such as communities of practice with stakeholders.
Your experience and qualifications
- Digital Expertise: Proficiency in utilizing digital communication platforms, tools, and technologies to deliver engaging internal communication campaigns.
- Clear communications skills: understanding of how to cut through noise, and understanding the level of detail and scope of information that is appropriate to share with different audiences (eg peers, team members, stakeholders and executives)
- Business acumen: how to lead meetings in-person and over Teams, including designing PPTs to guide the conversation, understand corporate office etiquette when to call vs email, how to use email in a concise and efficient manner, etc.
- Ability to coordinate and synthesize incoming information: summarizing meeting outcomes and key next steps, drafting cohesive project plans with clear milestones
- Ability to build relationships and trust: listen and ask questions, think from other peoples’ perspectives.
- Emotional intelligence/awareness: Understand what stakeholders are REALLY asking for (desired outcomes) and think how we can use current features to meet their needs, understand what to say to whom, and when, in order to advance key projects and ensure stakeholder engagement without damaging reputation of a platform
- Prioritization skills and critical thinking/applying judgment: how to balance needs of local and global stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously, proactively manage your own workload, know when to flag and escalate.
