We are looking for a proven, action-oriented Marketing Content and Communications Leader to manage the company’s communications, content, and messaging. The ideal candidate will own the overall strategizing, creation, execution, and deployment of a wide variety of marketing messages, branding, and collateral, while managing our content and marcom functions and staff and relationships with relevant external service providers.

Primary responsibilities include managing, writing, and editing a wide range of content deliverables, including brochures, web copy, email campaigns, scripts, press releases, white papers, eBooks, video scripts, articles, blog posts, case studies, creative slogans and catch phrases, etc. This role requires superb project management skills, the ability to measure the impact of specific pieces of content, generate leads and position D-Fend Solutions as a strong brand and thought leader in the competitive counter-drone (C-UAS) space.

We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and fast wordsmith and leader who is strategic, collaborative, highly organized, productive, and takes initiative. Native mother-tongue level English speakers only.

Responsibilities:

• Overall management, direction and oversight of company content, communications, brand, and messaging, including management of content team.
• Both directly and in oversight of the team, rapidly create, develop, edit, and refine a high volume of quality content that strengthens our brand and inspires audiences to act, and collaborate closely with our digital staff to deploy it across multiple digital channels.
• Develop and maintain the content plan, integrating with marketing events, strategies, plans and campaigns. Ensure high quality and timely delivery.
• Manage our marcom and content team,
• Oversee D-Fend’s marketing communications and social media posts.
• Oversee the processes and relationships with relevant service providers.
• Oversee management of the content library, portal for the sales team and website content
• Manage the end-to-end video creation process.
• In cooperation with digital marketing, optimize and analyze content for SEO, conversion, and other performance metrics, using tools such as Google Analytics
• Manage content production and distribution processes, including integration with marketing operations, and sales enablement tools and processes.
• Rapidly review, edit, and provide constructive feedback to internal writers.
• Collaborate closely with the executives, product professionals, sales, and pre-sales team to draft communications and create engaging and visually impressive presentations (PowerPoint)

Requirements:

• 10+ years of strong global B2B and/or B2G content marketing writing and editing experience for global B2B and/or B2G technology brands.
• Wide variety of content types for a multitude of digital and traditional platforms
• Native mother tongue level English.
• Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal, with a strong affinity for textual and visual storytelling;skilled in narrative storytelling and constructing compelling and engaging copy.
• Experience managing content, marcom and/or social media functions and staff.
• Ability to articulate complex technical details in a digestible style.
• Pick up new tools and concepts quickly and easily and work well under pressure.
• Proficiency in WordPress, Google Analytics, and PowerPoint
• Collaborative teammate who can both give and receive feedback and constructive criticism as a natural part of the creative process.
• High degree of organization, with strong project management skills
• Fast learner of new fields and technologies, with exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and execute quickly.
• Experience and knowledge in adapting and deploying content for marketing automation, SEO, and conversion optimization; solid foundation in SEO content writing.
• Great eye for design and visual elements; hands-on experience with relevant software tools a plus.
• Experience in aerospace, defense homeland security, public safety, and aviation industries, and B2G in general, is advantageous.
• Experience in or interfacing with Product Marketing is a plus.
