Mechanical Design Engineer (student position)

RNC Technologies is a leading provider of HMI products and interfaces utilizing proprietary technologies. From our headquarters in Israel, we serve customers globally with high-quality sensors, panels, and solutions.

To support our growth, we are looking for a junior mechanical design engineer to support our new product development. The position has the opportunity to advance in several engineering areas and includes training and education.

The ideal candidate has SolidWorks experience and is interested in electronic modules and products. You combine creativity with a good understanding of materials, engineering options, and limitations.

Your position is key to the company's ability to provide excellent, well-thought and cost-efficient products for our global customer base. Many projects are of strategic importance both for us and our customers.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategic design projects
• Review and analyze customer requirements
• Assess the feasibility of product design
• Provide technical concepts and solutions
• Implementation of concepts into mechanical parts and drawings

Qualifications

• In the process of obtaining a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of industry experience
• Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design (SolidWorks)
• High level of English
• Experience with SolidWorks is preferred
• Experience with electronic board design (Altium) is preferred
• Experience with Priority software is preferred
