Tier 3 Technical Support

Vicarius is an Israeli-born cybersecurity startup backed by tier-1 investors from San Francisco and Tel Aviv. Currently operating in the US, LATAM, APAC & EMEA, Vicarius is set to solve the biggest challenge of all: security vulnerabilities. The Vicarius powered platform, vRx, is a simple and self-serve product that helps companies identify, prioritize and fix security threats in an integrated, automated, and non-traditional manner.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Java engineer to join an agile Support team in Portugal. As a Tier 3 Technical Support Engineer, you’ll be part of a team responsible for maintaining our vRx platform. You are passionate about understanding the business context for features built to drive better customer experience and adoption.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop, debug, and test the platform API over AWS infrastructure.
• Resolve complex trouble tickets and implement post-sales solutions for existing customers.
• Provide API documentation and instructions for different stakeholders.
• Take end-to-end ownership of complex technical issues and collaborate with other teammates
• identify advanced troubleshooting including log analysis and research on escalated issues
• Work within an agile and small team environment.
• Provide input for software and technological innovations
• Work in shifts, including at night (6 hours shift - with a full-time salary)
  
  

• Experience troubleshooting real-time server-side applications and multicomponent platforms.
• Minimum 3+ years of server-side development experience.
• Knowledge of Java and Spring Framework.
• Experience with Amazon/Azure/GCP Web Services technologies
• Linux bash scripting and installation of open source platforms - Plus
• Knowledge of relational and a-relational databases (MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, etc.).
• Knowledge of continuous integration (CI/CD) platforms (Jenkins).
